Solution I: Loneliness is Temporary
The idea:
Picture this-- You log-in to Netflix and see a sidebar with profile icons flashing. You see that your childhood friend from elementary school has scheduled a watch party tonight on Netflix. You had no plans, but now you have 2!
What Netflix needs to do:
- 1. Create a friend (add) feature
Friend reviews (Top 10 list for each user) to get more accustomed to the Netflix Friends interface.
- 2. Add a watch party feature
Schedule open invite/private watch parties for friends. 10 miles away or 30,000 miles away, no problem! + reactions/chat
-3. Introduce a Photo Booth feature
Activate photo booth to clip everyone at the same "peak" times of the movie. That jump scare in a horror movie or moment of relief during a crime show will all be saved in a virtual strip! (something to remember the movie memories by).

Solution II: Click Netflix First!
What would make a person click Netflix when they open their phone? Daily Challenges. NYT, LinkedIn, Duolingo, Snapchat, and BeReal have employed this strategy... and it works. One of the most successful launches was by Chic-fil-a. With one game a week, users could win an item. Whether it was fries or soda, Chic-fil-a was able to roll in a million customers in less than 24 hours! (9) Similarly, Netflix will present two-day challenges. Each day, half of a short film will be released and users will guess the ending. The next day, the answer for the first day will be released along with the rest of the short film along with the first part of a new short film. Through these mini challenges, users can win prizes such as early access to a movie or 1 free month of Netflix Premium (no ads)!
